About Us

Built for Anyone Learning to Type

Simple Typing started from a simple observation: most typing tutors either focus narrowly on English, treat Hindi typing as an afterthought, or lock the useful features behind a paywall. We wanted one place that covers all of it — English typing, Hindi typing across six keyboard layouts, government exam-pattern practice, typing games, and beginner-friendly lessons for children — and stays free.

Typing Games

Typing Race, Balloon Typing, Word Rain, Memory Typing, and more, for anyone who'd rather build speed while playing than drilling paragraphs.

Our Approach

Every typing test on Simple Typing calculates Gross WPM, Net WPM, CPM, and accuracy in real time, with a full breakdown of correct versus incorrect characters once you finish. You can try almost everything as a guest with no signup — creating a free account simply adds the ability to save your results, track your progress over time, and pick up government exam sets where you left off.

Always Free

There are no subscriptions, no premium tiers, and no feature paywalls on Simple Typing. The site is supported by advertising, which is how we're able to keep every lesson, exam set, and game free for everyone. You can read more about how we handle data and advertising in our Privacy Policy.
